Thanks to some sleight of hand, on Aug. 21 we get Newsmax to tell its viewers that without some stupid 20-year war, even a failed one, Americans have nothing to be proud of, since we lag so far behind on health care, infrastructure, education, elder care, food options, income, social mobility, and so on. We offer a suggestion: next time we have $2.4 trillion lying around, let's spend on something we can be proud of instead. Watch or read the broadcast and read how it happened. 

Then, on the 20th anniversary of 9/11, they fall again for our ploy — and this time cut us off after we inform their viewers that Newsmax are the actual terrorists now. Watch or read that broadcast.
