Posing as Unicode—the consortium that releases new emojis—we launched a greenwashing emoji designed (for real!) by Shepard Fairey, calling out the greenwashing champions behind liquified natural gas (LNG, i.e. climate-heating dirty methane). 

Then we pretended to be Cory Doctorow and published a thinkpiece in a site that looked a lot like WIRED, and clapped back with a steaming retort from a fossil fuel lobby group. But not before Condé Nast tried to shut us down with a flimsy cease and desist that the Electronic Frontier Foundation promptly smashed with a glorious defense of free speech.
